On 10 January 2026, an extraordinary meeting of the Council of the Uzbekistan National Taekwon-Do (ITF) Association was held in Tashkent.

The meeting was attended by the Association’s leadership, Vice Presidents, heads of regional departments, the General Secretary, leading specialists and coaches. A total of 59 members took part in the meeting.

In accordance with the agenda, five-year reports of the Association’s leadership and heads of regional departments were heard and discussed, summarizing the activities carried out during 2021–2025.

In his report, Khasanov Laziz Saydivalievich, President of the Uzbekistan National Taekwon-Do (ITF) Association, noted that over the past five years the Association’s athletes have achieved high results in international and regional competitions.

For the period 2026–2031 (five years), the Association’s leadership, Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Head Coaches and heads of regional departments were elected. Khasanov Laziz Saydivalievich was unanimously re-elected as President of the Uzbekistan National Taekwon-Do (ITF) Association.

In the final part of the agenda, the plan and priority objectives for 2026 were defined. In particular, it was planned to ensure the participation of the Uzbekistan national team in prestigious international and national competitions, organize training camps to prepare athletes for the World Cup and the BRICS Games, and hold the Uzbekistan Championships and Cup tournaments at a high level in the relevant disciplines.

As a result of the meeting, relevant decisions on the agenda items were adopted, and responsibility for implementing the assigned tasks was entrusted to the respective officials.

In addition, the report of the Audit (Revision) Commission for 2020–2025 was heard. It was noted that the Association’s financial and economic activities were conducted in compliance with current legislation and the requirements of the Charter, and that funds were used transparently and for their intended purposes.
